REGISTRATION: SOFTBALL * BASEBALL * T-BALL (SPRING 2014)

2024 SPRING BASEBALL AND T-BALL

Newport Little League offers Baseball, Softball, and T-Ball for Newport Residents and students who attend schools in the city of Newport.

This program is for BASEBALL DIVISIONS including T-Ball. SOFTBALL has a separate registration program. If you are looking for SOFTBALL registration - please select 2024 SPRING SOFTBALL .

The Spring season typically runs from the end of April through June. All Stars for Baseball and Softball begins after the regular season (June) and can continue through July and possibly August. Players ages are determined by Little League International's age charts. New charts come out for each season. While there are age ranges for each division, at times, players will need to play in a different division for safety.

We offer the following BASEBALL divisions:

T-Ball for boys and girls - typical ages are 4-5. There is usually one practice per week and games are scheduled for Saturday mornings.

Coach-Pitch Baseball for boys and girls - typical ages are 6-8. There is usually one practice per week and two games, one during the week and one on Saturday.

Minors Baseball for boys and girls - typical ages 9-10. There is usually one practice per week and two games per week.

Majors Baseball for boys and girls - typical ages 11-12. There is usually one practice per week and two games per week.

Seniors Softball (Girls Only) ages 13-16

We encourage parents and guardians to sign up to volunteer. We cannot run a successful program without the dedication of our volunteers.
